James Lester

James Lester is an experienced executive currently serving as Executive Vice President at Live Nation Entertainment since May 2022 and President of Pioneering Group Development, LLC since 2018. Previously, James held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Bolivar Development & Builders from September 2021 to May 2022 and served as Executive Vice President of Development at Forest City Ratner Companies from 2000 to 2018. Notable achievements include managing pre-development activities for a $50 million theater project in Downtown Brooklyn and executing the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum and Mixed-Use Development from conception to completion, overseeing all aspects including financing, design, and operational execution. James holds a B.A. in Economics and English with a minor in Psychology from Duke University, earned between 1994 and 1998.
