Adam J. Arnett

Adam J. Arnett, MBA, is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in model and financial risk management. Currently serving as the Financial and Model Risk Manager at Live Oak Bank since June 2024, Adam has previously held significant roles including Head of Model Risk at Barings, where responsibilities included developing a comprehensive Model Risk Management Framework, and managing model governance initiatives. Prior to Barings, a tenure at Wells Fargo involved critical leadership in model challenge meetings and oversight of stress testing processes. Additional experience spans roles at the Federal Reserve Board, the Federal Housing Finance Agency, FDIC, and academic contributions as a Graduate Assistant at Ohio Dominican University. Adam holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Science in Finance, both from Ohio Dominican University.
