Brandon Mason, CPA, CIA, CISA, and CQIA, currently serves as Senior Vice President and Head of Internal Audit at Live Oak Bank since November 2019, previously holding the position of Vice President - Risk Manager at the same institution. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Audit Manager for Governance and Risk Management at BB&T from February 2017 to November 2019 and as Sarbanes-Oxley Manager at Arch Mortgage Insurance Company for a brief period in early 2017, maintaining this role after Arch MI acquired United Guaranty Corporation, where Brandon was a Sarbanes-Oxley Manager from April 2012 to December 2016. Earlier experience includes significant contributions as Senior Internal Auditor at Triad Guaranty Insurance from February 2006 to March 2012, along with various internal auditor roles. Brandon holds an MBA from Elon University’s Martha and Spencer Love School of Business and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management with a Minor in Accounting from Elon University.
