Ramona Jackson

Ramona Jackson currently serves as the Head of Technology Portfolio Management and Chief of Staff to the CIO/CDO at Live Oak Bank since August 2022, after holding the position of VP IT and Chief of Staff to the CTO. In addition, Ramona Jackson is a member of Chief since February 2023. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Director of IT Strategy & Planning and Chief of Staff to the CIO at Ciena, overseeing a 400-person IT organization with a $140M budget. Previous roles at Cisco encompassed IT Director of Global Infrastructure Services and IT Manager for Human Resources IT, with a focus on service architecture and support tools. Ramona Jackson was also an Advisory Board Member for the College of Engineering at The Ohio State University and holds a BA in Computer Science and Mathematics from East Carolina University, with further education from Penn State University.
