Stephen Day is an experienced professional in the loan closing and hospitality sectors. Currently serving as Closing Team Manager at Live Oak Bank since March 2020, Stephen has progressed through various roles including Senior Loan Closing Specialist and Loan Closing Specialist positions, facilitating the closing process for SBA loans. Prior to this, Stephen contributed to NEWLINE LOAN, LLC by leading sales and providing operational support for a fintech start-up. Experience in the hospitality industry includes managerial roles at River Enterprises and bartending at Michaels Seafood Restaurant, focusing on maximizing revenue and enhancing guest experiences. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Administration with a minor in Leadership from North Carolina Wesleyan University and an Associate in Arts in Business from Cape Fear Community College.
