Sharon Norris has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of Human Resources. Sharon began their career as an HR Generalist at Expedia CruiseShipCenters in 2006 and later worked as an HR Advisor at Eminata Group. From 2009 to 2013, they worked at HSBC as a Human Resources Business Partner and an Employee Relations Consultant. In 2013, they joined Aritzia as a Talent Manager for a brief period. Next, they held various roles at Vancity, including HR Business Partner, Director of Talent, Diversity & Inclusion, Director of Leadership and Organizational Effectiveness, and Director of Talent Initiatives. Following that, they worked at NOBL Collective as a Change and Org Design Director (Consultant) in North America. Currently, they serve as the Human Resources Director at Norco Bikes and Live To Play Sports. Prior to this, they founded Volkai HR Solutions and served as the CEO. Sharon Norris has a diverse education history. Additionally, Sharon holds a BA in Psychology from Simon Fraser University, and has completed a Business Admin Certificate and an HR Management Certificate from the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Sharon has also obtained certifications such as The Working Mind from the Mental Health Commission of Canada and is a member of CPHR BC & Yukon.
