Hyoeun Lee has worked in various roles in the art industry since 2015. In 2021, they began working as a Web 3.0 Product Manager at LiveArt.io, where they support agile development teams by translating incremental product priorities into executable product requirements. Hyoeun also coordinates, organizes, and populates web content for updating the website on a daily basis. Additionally, Hyoeun is the Auctions Operating Lead, where they spearhead art auction data research on modern and contemporary artists in the company's database system.

Prior to LiveArt.io, Hyoeun worked as a Full Stack Engineer at Matter Product Studio in 2020. In 2018, they worked as a Digital Archivist at Collector Systems, LLC., a Digital Archive Intern at Wallplay, a Gallery Intern at Tina Kim Gallery, a VIP Intern at Independent Art Fair, and an Intern at Xu Bing Studio. In 2017, Hyoeun worked as an Administrative Assistant at Saphira & Ventura Gallery.

In 2015, Hyoeun worked as a Curatorial Intern at the Seattle Art Museum, where they prepared exhibitions, proofread catalogue text, and tracked artwork in the registrar department. Additionally, they worked as an Exhibition Intern at Leeum, Samsung Museum of Art, where they greeted foreign visitors in English and worked as a docent to lead tours for the special exhibition.

Hyoeun Lee attended the University of Washington from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Art Theirtory, Criticism and Conservation. Hyoeun then attended Sotheby's Institute of Art from 2016 to 2018, where they earned a Master's degree in Art Business. Most recently, in 2019, they attended Flatiron School for Full Stack Development.
