Baalqis Hassan

Baalqis Hassan has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Baalqis is currently the Director of Financial Services at LiveCA LLP, where they have been working since October 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Operations Manager at the same company from October 2021 to September 2022 and Operations Manager from June 2018 to October 2021. Baalqis started at LiveCA LLP as an Onboarding Associate from September 2016 to June 2018.

Before joining LiveCA LLP, they worked as the Membership and Committee Relations Manager at the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals from July 2014 to July 2016. Baalqis also served as the Administrative Program and Communications Coordinator at the Old Ottawa South Community Association from August 2013 to June 2014.

Additionally, Baalqis has managerial experience as the General Manager at Pure Gelato from May 2012 to September 2013, and as the Manager at Trustfund Boutique/Roadtrip Clothing Store from February 2010 to April 2012. Baalqis started their career as an Assistant Manager at Pure Gelato from June 2008 to September 2010.

Baalqis has also worked in the federal government sector as a Communications Assistant at the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada from January 2008 to April 2008, and as a CR4 Training Assistant at the Office of the Commissioner of Review Tribunals (CPP/OAS) at HRSDC from April 2007 to December 2007.

Baalqis Hassan completed a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree with a major in Communication from the University of Ottawa from 2005 to 2012.
