Christoph Bünte

Christoph Bünte has a diverse work experience spanning over different companies and roles.

Starting from 2006, they worked as a Junior Software Developer at Mundwerk AG. Afterwards, they worked as a Freelance Software Developer at Rocket Internet AG, where they oversaw the concept and development of various internet portals.

Christoph then moved on to moviepilot GmbH, where they worked as a Freelance Software Developer. After that, they joined DaWanda as a Freelance Software Developer and built an API and a viral game for the studivz.net social platform.

In 2010, Christoph joined betterplace.org as a Freelance Software Developer, where they refactored and upgraded the platform and built an API for external clients. Christoph also worked as a Senior Software Developer at Sozialhelden (wheelmap.org), where they built the platform and API from the ground up and managed third-party developer teams for mobile apps.

In 2014, they joined AVARI as the VP Engineering / Chief Architect, where they managed the development team and collaborated with the product team on feature definition. After AVARI's acquisition by LiveIntent, Christoph continued to work at LiveIntent, holding roles such as Software Development Manager, Senior Software Development Manager, and Director of Software Engineering.

Christoph'smost recent role at LiveIntent is the VP of DevOps, where they lead a team of DevOps engineers in implementing OKR, Kanban, Terraform, Servant leadership, and Infrastructure as code. Christoph'steam is responsible for maintaining and improving the company's infrastructure and services.

Throughout their career, Christoph has demonstrated expertise in various technologies, methodologies, and frameworks, such as Ruby on Rails, Agile/SCRUM, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, and more.

Christoph Bünte completed their education from 1998 to 2000 at Hach | Hach Lange, where they earned a degree in Industriekaufmann. Christoph then attended Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences from 2001 to 2005, and obtained a degree in Informatik. In addition to their educational background, Christoph Bünte has obtained certifications as a Scrum Master from Boris Gloger in February 2009, and as a Shopify Expert from Shopify (specific completion dates are not provided for the latter).
