Shobin Uralil has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Prior to Lively, Shobin served on the Steering Committee of the Silicon Valley Chapter of The CFO Leadership Council from 2017 to 2020. Here, they played a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the organization.

From 2013 to 2016, Shobin worked at Retroficiency, which was later acquired by Ecova. As Vice President of Operations, they oversaw various aspects of the company's operations, including finance, HR, and customer projects. Shobin also served as the Director of Strategic Initiatives, where they focused on expanding services and securing new utility program partnerships.

In 2009, Shobin founded kWhOURS, Inc., where they held the positions of Founder & CEO and Co-Founder and CFO/COO. The company provided field apps and a cloud-platform to manage building data, resulting in improved efficiency and project execution.

Earlier in their career, Shobin gained experience in finance and mergers and acquisitions. Shobin worked as a Summer Associate in Mergers & Acquisitions at Prudential Financial, analyzing potential acquisition targets.
