Aashna Poddar

Aashna Poddar has over 8 years of work experience in the design field. In 2014, they began their career as a Design Intern at Gemius Design Studio, where they worked under the graphic studio on research and design development of sketches for a comic strip. In 2017, they became an Interior Architect Intern at Patel-Vadodaria Design Research Studio, where they were responsible for space planning, furniture language, material palette, technical drawings, and specification for two client's projects. In 2018, they joined Gensler as a Design Intern, where they collaborated with architects and designers to research, design, and implement spatial strategies for workplace and Education design. In 2019, they became a Teaching Assistant at CEPT University, where they facilitated final year undergraduate students in the course Drawing Thoughts- conceptual thinking through drawing. In 2020, they were a UX Designer at both Big Bon Family and Ahold Delhaize. At Big Bon Family, they facilitated design thinking workshops and improved user flows to help users pre-book their meals for the food truck through the website. At Ahold Delhaize, they collaborated with researchers, PMs, and developers on different platforms to improve the UX and CX for associates and customers while shopping in a variety of grocery stores and services. In 2021, they joined Lively as a Product Designer and in 2022, they joined Jabra Hearing (fka Lively) as a Product Designer, where they collaborated with product and engineering to strategize and design the Jabra Enhance Select mobile app on post-purchase experience and rebranded and redesigned the app design system to identify opportunities for usage of components, accessibility, and scaling.

Aashna Poddar completed a Bachelor's degree in Interior, Architecture & Design from CEPT University between 2014 and 2019. Aashna then participated in the DAAP, International Student Exchange Program at the University of Cincinnati in 2018. Most recently, they obtained a Master's degree in Design Management from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2020.
