David Butler

David Butler, CPA has extensive work experience in accounting and finance. David currently serves as the Director of Global Accounting Operations at Livent, where they lead a team in handling the close and consolidation of global operations for reporting purposes. David ensures compliance with internal controls and oversees shared service finance operations. Prior to this role, Butler held the same position at FMC Corporation, where they managed accounting operations for the Agricultural Solutions and Lithium business segments. David also implemented the ASC 606 revenue recognition standard and handled the global assessment and implementation of the new standard. Earlier in their career, Butler served as a Senior Manager of Revenue Recognition and Technical Accounting, overseeing the implementation of ASC 606 and training the finance team at FMC Corporation. David also worked as a Senior Finance Manager, responsible for global close and consolidation of the Agricultural Solutions Group business segment. Additionally, Butler has experience as a Manager of Internal Audit at FMC Corporation, where they ensured the execution of internal controls. Before joining FMC Corporation, Butler worked as an Assistant Director at CIGNA and as an Auditor at KPMG LLP.

David Butler, CPA completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting from Penn State University. David attended the university from 1993 to 1997 to obtain their degree.
