Paola Retes

Paola Retes has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Paola is currently working as the Vice President at LiveOak Venture Partners. Paola has also held positions as a Founding Board Member at Galvanizer, a community supporting female founders, and as a Private Equity Associate at Vista Equity Partners. Paola has experience in venture investing as a Venture Investor at Stanford GSB Impact Fund and as a Venture Capital Associate at Ironspring and HOLTVentures. Paola has also worked in financial analysis as a Financial Analyst at BD and as a Valuation Consultant at Deloitte. Paola started their career as a Research Analyst at Matterhorn Capital Management and as a Credit Analyst Intern at Valero Energy Corporation.

Paola Retes has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, which was obtained between the years 2020 and 2022. Prior to that, Paola completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law at St. Mary's University. Paola also participated in an Exchange Year in Switzerland through AFS Intercultural Programs USA, specifically at Kantonsschule Heerbrugg. Additionally, Paola holds the certification of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder, obtained from the CFA Institute in 2019.
