Michael Ranscombe

Michael Ranscombe currently serves as the Head of Web & Customer Technology at Liverpool City Council since April 2015, where responsibilities include the strategic and creative development of web-based applications and defining the Digital Strategy for the City Council. Prior to this role, Michael was a Development Manager leading Digital Services Development and Support teams, utilizing Microsoft .NET, SQL Server, and Umbraco technologies in an Agile environment. Michael's career spans various positions in organizations such as Liverpool Direct Limited, MCG Consulting, Mouchel Parkman, and Swiss Life, with a solid foundation in software engineering and development. Educational qualifications include a BSc. in Computing Science, multiple certificates from The Open University, and foundational education from St. Margaret’s CE High School and Liverpool College.
