Charles Hayward

Charles Hayward serves as the VP of Technical Research at LiveView Technologies, leading transformative technology research and engineering efforts across machine learning, video streaming, video analytics, computer vision, sensor fusion, and machine perception since November 2013. Previously, Charles held the position of Director of Software Development, where responsibilities included driving software strategy, architecting cloud-based systems for IoT devices, and mentoring software engineers. With a background in embedded software development as the owner of Hayward Enterprises and experience in senior software engineering roles at i3 Technologies, Caveon, Open Solutions, and Fonix Corporation, Charles has a rich history of innovating in speech technology, forensic analysis, financial software development, and text-to-speech systems. Charles is currently pursuing advanced education at MIT Sloan School of Management and MIT Professional Education.
