Eduard Casas Terradellas

Eduard Casas Terradellas has held a variety of roles in the past. Eduard began their career in 2003 as a PhD Biomedicina at the University of Barcelona, where they studied the mechanisms involved in the regulation of intracellular transport and the cell cycle by the HERC protein family and its interaction with other proteins. Eduard used a variety of methods and techniques, such as cell and bacterial culture, PCR and real-time PCR, vector construction, metabolic labeling, DNA cloning and sequencing, protein and antibody purification, gene silencing by RNA interference, activation and inhibition of metabolic pathways, immunochemistry, reporter gene assays, etc. In 2009, they joined Vedeqsa-Grupo Lamirsa as a Departamento R+D. Most recently, they have been a Technical Manager at LivFul, Inc. since 2018.

Eduard Casas Terradellas received a Licenciatura in Bioquímica from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona between 1999 and 2002. Prior to that, they completed a Licenciatura in Química from the Universitat de Girona between 1993 and 1999.
