Amy Burkholder

Amy Burkholder is an accomplished producer and director currently with River Blue Productions since February 2021. Burkholder serves as a member of the Leadership Council for Drexel University and has held a board position with Living Beyond Breast Cancer since January 2022. Previously, Burkholder directed global communications for The Cancer Center at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and contributed as a member of the board for the Sphinx Organization. Additional experience includes teaching medical and science writing at Lehman College and consulting in public affairs and media communications at The Mount Sinai Hospital. Burkholder’s extensive background in medical journalism spans roles at CBS News and CNN. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Lafayette College, as well as various fellowships and a Master of Science in Broadcast Journalism from Northwestern University.
