Victoria Young

Victoria Young is an education expert at the NOAA Living Marine Resources Cooperative Science Center (LMRCSC) at Savannah State University, responsible for tracking and assessing fellows and facilitating their fellowship completion. Additionally, Victoria serves as a visiting faculty member at Savannah State University, where responsibilities include creating and implementing a summer camp focused on Ocean Literacy principles. Previous roles include a science teacher in both middle and elementary school settings, where curriculum alignment and differentiation were key tasks. Victoria's early career involved hands-on experience with water quality monitoring and animal husbandry. Academically, Victoria holds a PhD in Curriculum Instruction and Assessment from Walden University and has degrees in Early Childhood Education, Cultural Anthropology, and Biology.
