Amanda Owen

Amanda Owen is an experienced animal care professional currently serving as an Ambassador Animal Keeper at Loveland Living Planet Aquarium since June 2019. Prior experience includes roles as a Veterinary Assistant at Wasatch Exotic Pet Care, a Seasonal Keeper at Hogle Zoo, and an Aviculture Intern at Tracy Aviary. Amanda's background also encompasses a significant tenure in human resources, including positions as an HR Generalist at Loveland Living Planet Aquarium and Vivint Solar, where a successful onboarding process for over 500 new hires was implemented. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Brigham Young University and an Associate of Arts in General Studies from Weber State University.
