Allan Alford

Allan Alford is the current advisor at Living Security. Allan has previously worked as the president elect of Security Tinkerers, a CISO at Mitel and Forcepoint, a delivery CISO at NTT DATA Services, and a member of the board of advisors at Southern Methodist University. In their previous positions, Allan was responsible for overseeing all information security concerns, developing technology strategy and roadmaps, securing IT services delivery to clients, and diving into popular or controversial infosec topics each week on the Defense in Depth Podcast.

Allan Alford has a Master's in Information Systems & Security from Our Lady of the Lake University and a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts with a focus on Leadership from DePaul University. Allan also has certification from ISACA in CISM.
