John Matthews

John Matthews has extensive experience in church leadership and ministry, currently serving as the President of Scarlet Thread Ministries since June 1986, where responsibilities include event planning, volunteer oversight, teaching, and international project administration. Additionally, John has served as a Volunteer Pastor for Living Word Christian Center since March 2018 and was a Staff Pastor from May 2009 to December 2016, focusing on missionary work in various countries. Earlier in their career, John led a 200-member congregation at Church Upon The Rock from September 1971 to January 1986. Educationally, John holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Bible from Crown College and has pursued further studies at the University of Minnesota in Science and Medicine.
