Beni Buess

Beni Buess serves as the Chief Product Officer and Head of Product Creation Experience at Livingdocs AG since December 2019, following a notable tenure as Head of Editorial Tech and Software Engineer in Visual Journalism at NZZ Neue Zürcher Zeitung from June 2015 to October 2019. In the latter role, Beni Buess focused on enhancing the storytelling toolbox Q and led a team dedicated to interactive journalism. Prior experience includes roles as Software Engineer at Astina AG, Software Developer and Linux System Administrator at COMPUTE.CH GMBH, and Technischer Zeichner und Projektleiter at Quadro 3dimensional messe + design AG. Beni Buess co-founded linkflink GmbH and began a career in technology as a Lehrling Informatiker at Swisslog. Beni Buess also contributed to the education sector as a web development lecturer at SAE Institute Zürich from 2013 to 2018. Educational qualifications include a Technische Berufsmaturität and Eidg. Fähigkeitszeugnis in application development, both obtained from Berufsmaturitätsschule and TBZ Technische Berufsschule Zürich, respectively.
