Sheri Schoenfield has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Sheri started their career as a Mortgage Specialist at Source One Mortgage in 1980, where they reviewed and processed hazard insurance renewals and ensured compliance with mortgage requirements. Sheri then worked as an Office Manager at Child & Family Services, overseeing office operations and assisting in hiring and human resource duties.

In 1996, they joined Livingston Educational Service Agency, where they held multiple roles. Sheri initially served as a Human Resources Specialist, managing all aspects of HR for approximately 400 staff members. Their responsibilities included onboarding, leaves of absence, certifications, and maintaining policies and procedures. Sheri also worked as an administrative assistant for the homebound/hospitalized education program and maintained the school district's website. In 2014, they transitioned to the role of Special Education Office Assistant, providing support to the Director of Special Education, teaching staff, and students enrolled in special education.

Throughout their career, Sheri has demonstrated proficiency in various software and tools, including Microsoft Office, CEO Visual Imaging Software, and MiStar/Medicaid billing. Sheri is known for their ability to handle confidential information, remain calm during emergencies, and effectively communicate with different stakeholders.

Sheri Schoenfield started their education at Oakland Community College from 1983 to 1985, where they studied Business Administration/Accounting. Later, from 2009 to 2011, they attended Baker College of Flint, working towards an Associates Degree in Human Resources Management and Services.
