Luis Ortega

Luis Ortega is an experienced procurement professional with a strong background in sourcing and supplier management across various industries. Currently serving as the Procurement Director for the Americas at LIXIL/American Standard since October 2019, Luis oversees the fittings division, developing and executing sourcing strategies while managing relationships with global suppliers. Prior roles include Senior Sourcing Manager at MTE Corporation, where strategic sourcing initiatives were led for global commodities, and Sourcing Leader at Nelson Global Products, focusing on domestic supplier development. Additional experience includes roles as Senior Direct Material Buyer at Philips Lighting, Purchasing Analyst at Embraco, and Global Buyer at Magna Powertrain. Luis holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León.
