Previously, Gong served as Principal Engineer at Norton Engineering Consultants, focusing on clean and economical solutions for energy and refinery sectors, and held senior roles at AECOM and Nalco Mobotec, advancing combustion technologies and emissions control through innovative modeling and product development. Gong's expertise is backed by a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia University and dual degrees (BS and MS) in Energy and Power Engineering from Wuhan University. Throughout a distinguished career, Gong has contributed to significant projects, including a patented method for chemical injection to remove pollutants.
