Jim Albertz

Jim Albertz is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in environmental engineering and waste management. Currently serving as President of Albertz Engineering since March 2013, Jim also holds the position of Senior Environmental Engineer at LJB Inc. since 2014. Involvement with SWOWEA since 2008 includes managing the Industrial Waste Committee to develop annual seminars on industrial waste management. Prior to these roles, Jim worked as a Senior Program Manager at EQ, overseeing the design and construction of various environmental systems. Additional experience includes serving as Director of Engineering at BHE Environmental, Inc., and positions at Westinghouse Environmental and Black & Veatch, focusing on remediation, landfill design, and hydraulic systems. Jim holds a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, earned between 1982 and 1986.
