Suchandra Sar

Suchandra Sar is a seasoned professional in the fields of chemistry and metallurgy, currently serving as a Senior Laboratory Technician at LKAB Minerals since November 2023. Prior to this role, Suchandra worked as a Development Engineer in Process Technology specializing in Hydrometallurgy and Water Treatment at Boliden from January to November 2023. Suchandra also has significant academic experience as a Universitetsadjunkt in Chemistry of Interfaces at Luleå University of Technology from May 2021 to December 2022, focusing on analytical chemistry and environmentally friendly flame retardants, and as a PhD Researcher in Process Metallurgy at the same institution from May 2013 to January 2021, conducting industrial research on sustainable recycling methods. Additional teaching experience includes positions as a Science teacher in India from 2003 to 2010.
