Shelby Carter

Shelby Carter has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Shelby started their career in 2014 as a Service Clerk at Ric's Food Center and worked there until January 2017. In 2015, they also worked as a Pro-Shop Associate and Grounds Crew at The Pines Golf Course, where they provided customer service, managed bookings, and maintained the golf course.

In 2015, Shelby joined Grand Valley Lanthorn as a Distribution Manager, where they used Microsoft Office tools to analyze readership trends and coordinate with multiple departments. Shelby later became an Assistant Business Manager, overseeing payroll and managing revenue streams. Finally, they served as a Business Manager, handling financial operations and representing the Lanthorn on the Student Media Advisory Board. Their tenure at Grand Valley Lanthorn ended in May 2018.
