Mike Dufresne

Mike Dufresne has a comprehensive work experience in the automotive industry. Mike initially worked for LKQ Corporation from 1998, where they held various positions such as Vice President and General Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for overseeing operations, integrating business lines, and significantly increasing revenues.

In 2006, Dufresne became a Regional Vice President for LKQ Corporation, where they expanded their responsibilities to include all operations in Canada and the northeast U.S. Mike successfully managed a business with 65 locations, 3500 employees, and $710 million in revenue.

In 2016, they joined Auto Parts Outlet as Vice President, leading and growing a new company-wide retail initiative. Mike was responsible for expanding operations, selecting store locations, building vendor relationships, and increasing revenue.

Prior to their tenure at LKQ Corporation, Dufresne co-founded Rt16 Used Auto Parts in 1983. As President, they were instrumental in rebuilding and expanding the business. It grew to become one of the largest independent operations in the auto salvage industry.

Mike Dufresne earned a Masters Director Certification in Public Company Boards from the American College of Corporate Directors in 2017-2018. In addition, they studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of South Florida from 1980-1982. Mike also holds a Professional Certification from the American College of Corporate Directors and is a Member of the Auto Recyclers of Mass Board of Directors.
