Lars Hounsgaard is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in treasury and trading. Currently serving as the Director of Treasury Europe at LKQ Europe since July 2018, Lars has previously held significant positions including Treasurer at CONTI Reederei from January 2000 to August 2017 and Chief Dealer at HVB Bank in Munich from June 1994 to December 1999, focusing on investment banking, foreign exchange, and interest rate derivatives. Prior to those roles, Lars gained expertise as a Senior Trader in currency and interest rate derivatives at Danske Bank in both Copenhagen and London from 1990 to 1994, and as an AVP/FX and Derivatives Trader at Danske Bank from October 1987 to April 1990.
