Jason Smith

Jason Smith currently serves as the Head of Development for Trusts and Foundations at Better Story since December 2023 and is simultaneously the Interim Operations Manager at St Peter's Hospice, Bristol since September 2024. Smith has held various leadership roles, including Non Executive Board Member at Llais Cymru since July 2022 and Board Member at Taff Housing since August 2021. Prior to these positions, Smith was the Assistant Director of Support at Pobl Group from September 2022 to December 2023 and a Board Trustee at Cymorth Cymru from December 2019 to March 2023. Smith's extensive experience also includes serving as Head of Care and Support and Older Persons Services Manager at Caredig from September 2016 to September 2022, a Non Executive Director at CYFLE I DYFU / CHANCE TO GROW CYF from April 2012 to July 2019, and Area Manager at Royal Voluntary Service from August 2015 to September 2016. Smith’s career started with the role of Operational Services Manager at Citizens Advice from April 2015 to August 2015. Smith earned a Master's degree in Management from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David from 2010 to 2013.
