Jerry Liu

Jerry Liu is a Co-Founder of LlamaIndex, starting in March 2023. Previously, they worked as a Machine Learning Engineering Manager at Robust Intelligence from February 2021 to February 2023. Jerry also worked at Uber as a Research Scientist from September 2019 to February 2021 and as an AI Resident from August 2018 to August 2019. Additionally, Jerry has experience as a Machine Learning Engineer at Quora from August 2017 to August 2018. Jerry has also held internships at Two Sigma as a Software Engineering Intern in 2016, at Quora as a Software Engineering Intern in 2015, and at Apple as a Software Engineering Intern in 2014. Jerry was a Co-President at The Princeton Entrepreneurship Club from May 2015 to May 2016 and held multiple roles at HackPrinceton, including Co-Director from December 2014 to May 2015 and Sponsorships Officer from June 2014 to December 2014. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Software Engineer at nousDECOR in 2013.

Jerry Liu attended Princeton University from 2013 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. Jerry also earned a Certificate in Finance and graduated with high honors, achieving a GPA of 3.97 (Summa Cum Laude).
