David Marsden

David Marsden is an experienced leader in human resources, currently serving as Group Head of Talent at Lloyds Banking Group, where responsibilities include guiding talent and career strategies for approximately 60,000 colleagues. Marsden has held various leadership positions within the organization, including Head of Group People Policy and Policy Transformation, and Head of People for Commercial Banking Markets. A history of strategic HR management spans roles in Capital Markets, Private Banking, and Wealth sectors. Additionally, Marsden is actively involved with Stonewall Housing as Vice Chairman of the Board and Board Trustee, emphasizing support for the LGBT community. Academic qualifications include a degree in Management with Asian Studies from Nottingham University Business School and further studies at the University of Nottingham - Malaysia Campus. A recent certification from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust was also completed in July 2022.
