Uddipto Chakraborty

Uddipto Chakraborty is an experienced analytics professional currently serving as Associate Director of Portfolio Analytics at Lloyds Banking Group since October 2022. Prior to this role, Uddipto held positions at HSBC as AVP, focusing on retail IFRS9 models for UK loans and mortgages, and at Citi as Data Science Manager, specializing in market mix and multi-touch attribution analysis for the US cards business. Uddipto has also worked with FICO as an Analytics Consultant on IFRS9 models for major banks in the Middle East and Nordic region, and with HSBC as Assistant Manager on Basel wholesale models for non-banking financial companies (NBFCs). Earlier experience includes a role as Senior Business Analyst at EXL. Uddipto holds a Master of Science in Mathematics and Statistics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and completed an Accelerated General Management Programme at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Statistics from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata.
