Thomas Horrobin

Thomas Horrobin is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in full-stack development, having held senior engineering positions at various companies. Currently a Senior Software Engineer at Lloyd's List Intelligence since August 2023, Thomas previously served as Head of Engineering at DirectlyApply from February 2021 to April 2023, where responsibilities included overseeing the engineering team and modernizing backend systems. Prior experience includes roles at Eligible.ai, StepStone, Kiwibank, and NZX Limited, focusing on technologies such as React, TypeScript, Node.js, and AWS. Thomas also co-founded Liquid Market in New Zealand, drawing inspiration from the UK AIM market. Education was completed at Victoria University of Wellington from 2008 to 2011.
