Jeff Weslowski's work experience begins with their role as a Coop Student at TRLabs, where they designed a DS1/DS3 Forward Error Correction (FEC) demonstration unit and a real-time data acquisition system. Jeff then joined Nortel as an SW Engineer/FPGA Engineer, working on the OC-48 and OC-192 platforms. At Ciena (ONI Systems), they were a HW Engineer responsible for the Optical Service Channel and Ethernet Switch cards.
Jeff's career at NovAtel started with their position as a Senior Hardware Engineer, developing receiver cards for the Galileo Reception Chain program. Jeff later became a Hardware Engineering Manager, a Principal Hardware Engineer, and then the Chief Engineer for SMART Antennas and Enclosures, where they had overall technical accountability for the products and led a team of System Engineers and Project Managers.
Jeff moved on to become the Engineering Director for Integrated Products at Hexagon Positioning Intelligence, managing teams accountable for Agriculture, Defense, and Enclosure/SPAN products. Jeff then became the Director and Chief Engineer for Defense at Hexagon Autonomy and Positioning, with technical accountability for Defense products and a team of System Engineers and SW Engineers. Currently, Jeff is the Senior Director for Aerospace and Defense Engineering at NovAtel, managing a team responsible for anti-jam products, ground reference receivers, and customization of positioning products for the Aerospace and Defense markets.
Jeff Weslowski received their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Alberta. Jeff pursued their education at the university from 1990 to 1995.
