Edgar Almaguer is an associate at LMN Architects. Edgar previously worked at Richard Meier & Partners from September 2009 to November 2018, where they were responsible for expanding the firm’s presence in Latin America, Asia and Eastern Europe in collaboration with the clients, local press, and cultural institutions. During their time at Richard Meier & Partners, they also created and directed the first traveling Richard Meier Retrospective in Latin America at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Monterrey, Mexico and the Museo de Arte Carrillo Gil in Mexico City.

Almaguer has also revised the branding, image and identity of Richard Meier & Partners through marketing collateral including business proposals, press kits, firm brochures, exhibitions, official website, Instagram and Facebook. Furthermore, they have been responsible for the direct communication with all the press and the internal communication between the Associate Partners and Richard Meier. In addition, they have assembled a database of press and media outlets to facilitate press releases and media blitz all around the world.

Some of Almaguer’s other notable achievements include managing, coordinating and commissioning all professional photography with world-renowned photographers, including Scott Frances, Roland Halbe, Mike Schwartz and Hufton+Crow. Edgar is also accountable for the digital image archive, the management of the content of the website and social media outlets.

Edgar Almaguer studied Architectural Design at Parsons School of Design - The New School, where they earned their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA). Edgar also studied at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand and TFH University of Applied Sciences in Berlin, Germany.
