Torben Heinzel

Torben Heinzel is an experienced professional currently serving as the Business Development Manager for National Key Accounts and Carbon Projects Lead at Loam Bio since December 2021, where responsibilities include leading soil coring/sampling and farmer engagement initiatives. In July 2023, Torben became a partner at MR & K Heinzel, managing a 3200-acre cow-calf grazing operation. Torben's military experience includes service as an Army Reserve Rifleman with the 4/3 RNSWR, Bravo Company in Wollongong from June 2017 to April 2024. Prior to current roles, Torben worked as a Geotechnical Engineer and Graduate Engineer at SMEC, contributing to notable projects such as EnergyConnect and the Albion Park Rail Bypass. Torben began the career as a farmhand at MR & K Heinzel from January 2014 to December 2019. Education includes a degree in Civil Engineering with a minor in Finance from the University of Wollongong.
