Ari Shpanya

Ari Shpanya is the current CEO of Loanbase, and was previously a General Partner at Blok Living from September 2016 to January 2021. Blok Living is a full-stack developer, owner, and operator specializing in acquiring, developing, remodeling, and managing investment properties and multi-family portfolios throughout San Francisco and Los Angeles. The firm currently owns a portfolio of over 100,000 square feet with over $65MM AUM at the prime residential market of San Francisco, Berkeley, Los Angeles, and Brooklyn.

Prior to their work at Blok Living, Ari Shpanya was the Co-Founder at Zent from September 2016 to December 2017. Zent is a startup that helps connect businesses with service providers. Ari was also the Founder & Executive Chairman at Wiser Solutions, Inc. from November 2012 to December 2016. Wiser Solutions is a software company that provides data-driven solutions for e-commerce retailers. Lastly, they were the Founder & CEO of imOnline from September 2009 to June 2012. imOnline is a social media platform that allows users to connect with friends and family online.

Ari Shpanya has a background in both law and economics, having completed a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Reichman University (IDC Herzliya) as well as Economics from The Open University of Israel. Ari later went on to complete the Stanford Ignite Global Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business. In addition, Ari has SV101 certification from ICON.
