Christine Sawaya

Christine Sawaya has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Christine currently works at loanDepot as the SVP, Senior Credit Officer, a role they began in January 2022. Prior to this, they held various positions at loanDepot, including VP of Credit Risk Management, Credit Policy Manager, Program Manager - Operations, Operations Efficiency Manager, Underwriting Training Manager, and Underwriter III.

Before joining loanDepot, Christine worked at Aerotek Commercial Staffing as a Wells Fargo - Underwriter IV and at Select Remedy Staffing as a Wells Fargo - Underwriter III.

In 2008, they worked as a Senior Underwriter at Green Credit Solutions, where they evaluated and restructured clients' financial budgeting to ensure a sustainable financial future.

Christine also worked at Aurora Loan Services as a Senior Underwriter, where they performed credit and property analysis on loan files.

At BNC Mortgage, a Lehman Brothers company, they held the position of Senior Underwriter and played a key role in assisting the Information Technology department with the development and improvement of Automated Underwriting Program systems.

Christine also worked as a Legal Assistant at BNC Mortgage, managing state licensing requirements and handling real estate leases and litigation research.

Finally, Christine started their career at Celtic Leasing Corp. as an Assistant Funding Administrator, specializing in financing and assessing the financial positions of corporations.
