Rich Slater

Rich Slater has over 20 years of experience in the field of Human Resources. Their most recent position was as the Senior VP People at HR Business Partner Advisors, where they provided HR support to various industries and built HR strategies from the ground up. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Becklar, LLC, where they successfully built a high-performance HR team and aligned HR initiatives with business objectives. Rich also held the role of Sr. Director Human Resources at Fresenius Medical Care North America, overseeing strategic HR and safety for multiple locations. Earlier in their career, they worked at CSM Bakery Solutions as the Interim Plant Manager and Regional Director of HR, handling overall site management, HR compliance, and employee relations. Before that, they served as the Senior HR Manager at H.C. Brill, where they managed all HR activities and safety compliance for the Western Division. Throughout their career, Rich has demonstrated expertise in HR strategy, talent development, total rewards, compliance, and building strong business partnerships.

Rich Slater obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a minor in Spanish from Weber State University. Rich then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Human Resources Management from Utah State University. Rich also holds certifications such as OSHA 501 and 40 Hour Certified from the U.S. Department of Labor, SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM, and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI.
