Kashif Yamin

Kashif Yamin is a seasoned professional in information security with a diverse background encompassing roles in corporate security, academia, and consulting. Currently serving as a Senior Specialist in Information Security at Bell since August 2021, Kashif specializes in purple teaming, threat and vulnerability management, and security governance. In addition to this role, Kashif is also a Professor at Seneca College, teaching courses in the Information Security domain and authoring a course on Vulnerability Management. Previous experience includes positions at CIBC as an Information Security Consultant, where Kashif focused on vulnerability assessment and risk communication, and at Deloitte Canada in the Cyber Intelligence Center, where duties involved security assessments and incident investigations. Kashif's educational background includes a degree in Building and Leading Vulnerability Management Programs from SANS Technology Institute and an Honours Bachelor of Technology in Informatics & Security from Seneca Polytechnic.
