Rob Barnes

Rob Barnes, PMP, has extensive experience in project and operations management within the technology and people solutions sectors. Currently serving as Senior Director of People Solutions & Analytics at Loblaw Companies Limited since October 2017, Rob oversees IT delivery for People Systems supporting approximately 200,000 users. Previously, Rob held various roles at Loblaw, including Senior Project Manager for Finance and Corporate Systems. Prior to returning to Loblaw, Rob was General Manager and VP of Technical Solutions & Services at Matrix Industrial Control Systems, where responsibilities included managing operations and ensuring customer service excellence. Rob began career as a Systems Analyst and progressed to Project Manager at Matrix, demonstrating strong capabilities in project delivery and client engagement. Rob holds a degree from Sheridan College, obtained between 1995 and 1998.
