Zain Akhtar

Zain Akhtar is an experienced professional in the retail and merchandising industry, currently serving as the Director of Multicultural Merchandising at Loblaw Companies Limited since October 2014. Zain has held various merchant roles within the company, including positions focused on condiments, meal makers, and dry grocery multicultural merchandising. Prior to joining Loblaw, Zain worked at Sobeys from October 2007 to October 2013, starting as a Seafood Clerk, providing efficient customer service and managing supply orders. Additionally, Zain gained technical and administrative experience as a Finance/Technical Assistant at Doon Resins Inc. from June 2009 to August 2011. Zain holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Finance from the University of Toronto, completed between 2009 and 2013.
