Ștefan R. has a diverse work experience in the IT industry spanning over 15 years. Ștefan started their career at ITNT, where they worked as a Software Editor before transitioning to the role of Web Developer, contributing mostly to PHP backend development. Ștefan then took on the role of Systems Administrator, where they designed and migrated the web infrastructure to AWS for the company. As Head of Engineering, they were responsible for technical decision-making and procurement, as well as maintaining the web infrastructure.

In 2015, Ștefan joined Anatwine as a DevOps Engineer. During their tenure, they worked on various projects involving AWS automation using CloudFormation, Chef, Docker, and Ruby. Ștefan developed an automation framework for CloudFormation, implemented a Virtual Private Cloud architecture, and utilized various tools and technologies for deployment, monitoring, and security. Ștefan also built a distributed Active Directory infrastructure and implemented WPA2 Enterprise authentication.

In 2018, Ștefan joined Okta, initially as a Managed Services Engineer. Ștefan then transitioned to the role of Senior DevOps and Security Engineer, where they played a key role in building, orchestrating, and securing Auth0's Private Cloud product for enterprise customers. Ștefan has implemented security controls to maintain compliance with ISO 27001 tests, leveraging the Vanta platform.
