Antonio J. Mendoza is an experienced education leader currently serving as Director of Community Programs at the Silicon Valley Education Foundation, where the focus is on promoting educational equity through digital inclusion and educator development. In addition to this role, Mendoza holds several leadership positions at Local Color, including Vice President, Board Member, and Board Secretary, aimed at creating equitable pathways for creatives. Previously, Mendoza was a Program Manager at Breakthrough Silicon Valley, successfully expanding the College Pathways Initiative to serve over 70 first-generation college students. With a diverse educational background that includes a Master's degree in History from Columbia University and extensive teaching and counseling experience, Mendoza’s contributions to education are both impactful and wide-ranging.
