Rachel Urquhart

Rachel Urquhart has a diverse work experience in the hospitality industry. Rachel is the founder of Dallas on the Rocks, where they create content surrounding restaurant and bar openings, menus, events, and offerings. Rachel also works as the Director of Events & Catering at Local Favorite Restaurants, overseeing catering and events initiatives for multiple restaurant concepts and achieving substantial sales growth. Rachel has previously held positions as a Private Events Director at Tower Club of Dallas, Marketing Specialist at Lorenzo Hotel, Event Sales Director at The Network Bar, and Sales Manager at Texas Western Hospitality. Furthermore, Rachel has worked in various roles at The Highland Dallas, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, The Statler Hotel, and The Breakers Palm Beach.

Rachel Urquhart attended Oliver Ames High School from 2008 to 2011 where they obtained their High School Diploma. Rachel then went on to study at Cornell University from 2011 to 2015, earning a Bachelor's degree in HTL - Hotel Administration. In addition to their formal education, Rachel has obtained several certifications including a Food Handler Certification from ServSafe Certified, a Social Media Certification from Hootsuite, and a TABC Certification from TABC On The Fly.
