Amber McFee-Blanco has a strong background in the banking industry, with experience spanning over several companies and roles. Amber began their career at First Bank in 2018 as an AVP Complex Loan Manager, where they managed complex loan processes. Amber then progressed to become the VP Complex Loan & Document Preparation Manager, overseeing loan operations and document preparation. Amber joined Asheville Savings Bank in 2005, where they held various roles. As the AVP Loan Operations & Special Assets Manager, they provided guidance and support to the loan operations team and ensured data accuracy. Amber also held the position of Loan Operations Specialist, where they developed into a loan data analysis role and assisted customers with their loan inquiries. Additionally, Amber served as a Commercial Lending Assistant, focusing on loan documentation and efficiency improvement. Amber started their career as a Teller, gaining knowledge and experience in general banking practices. Currently, Amber is the VP Director of Loan Operations at First Bank, leading the loan operations department.
Amber McFee-Blanco completed a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Montreat College. Amber attended Montreat College from 2009 to 2013.
