Cathy Stone

Cathy Stone has extensive experience in the banking industry. Cathy is currently serving as the Vice President - Commercial Business Development Officer at First Bank (FBNC) since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked at First Horizon Bank as a Business Banking Relationship Manager from June 2019 to August 2022. Cathy also held the position of Business Associate II at Wells Fargo from April 2006 to June 2019. Earlier in their career, they worked at RBC as a Financial Specialist/Small Business Banker from May 2002 to April 2006 and as a Branch Manager from February 1996 to May 2002. Before RBC, Cathy worked as a Financial Specialist at First Union National Bank from May 1993 to February 1995, and as a Trust Department Receptionist at High Point Bank from June 1989 to May 1993.

Cathy Stone earned their Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics from High Point University in 1993. Cathy also obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business/Managerial Economics from the same institution, starting their studies in 1989 and completing them in 1993.
