Mike Loughran

Mike Loughran has over two decades of experience in the industrial automation sector, currently serving as Director of Software & Control for Intelligent Devices in the EMEA North Region at Rockwell Automation since October 2006. Previous roles at Rockwell Automation include various leadership positions such as CTO for the UK & Ireland, where responsibilities included overseeing the Architecture & Software business, advocating for the Industrial Internet of Things, and managing customer relationships to enhance productivity through connected solutions. Prior experience includes software sales roles at Fortetion focused on SCADA and business intelligence, project management at Alstom Drives & Controls, and engineering roles at Alston Power & Controls and Northern Electric PLC. Mike Loughran holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Liverpool John Moores University.
